Any public tweet works. These conversation types produce the most revealing visualizations.

Product launches & announcements

Release threads where community feedback branches into feature requests, bug reports, and hype.

Tech & open-source threads

Engineering discussions where deep branches contain the most valuable technical insights, buried under surface-level replies.

Frequently asked questions

What is Treeverse?+

Treeverse visualizes Twitter/X conversation threads as interactive tree diagrams. See who replied to whom, find the most active branches, and read full reply chains at a glance.

How does it work?+

Paste a tweet URL and Treeverse fetches the conversation via Twitter’s API. Replies are arranged as a tree — hover any node to read the thread path, double-click to load more replies.

Is it free?+

Yes. We offer a free tier with limited usage. For unlimited access, add your own Twitter API v2 bearer token — it’s stored in your browser only.

Why can’t I see replies on older tweets?+

Twitter’s API only returns replies from the last 7 days. For older tweets, the root post will appear but replies may be missing.

Is my API key safe?+

Your bearer token is stored in your browser’s localStorage only. It’s sent per-request to our server to proxy the Twitter API call, then immediately discarded — never logged or persisted.

What tweets work best?+

Any public tweet with replies. Viral debates, AMAs, product launches, and quote-tweet storms produce the most revealing trees. The more replies, the richer the visualization.

Can I share a visualization?+

Not yet — each tree is generated client-side from the Twitter API. We’re exploring shareable URLs in the future.

Paste a tweet. See the full conversation.
